Accounting Firm Volunteers At Akron-Canton Foodbank

Akron, OH, Dec. 21, 2009…Several members of the Schlabig team recently volunteered at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Akron, Ohio. Schlabig & Associates, Ltd is a leading certified public accounting firm offering strategic services for Ohio-based businesses and individuals.
Schlabig organized a team of firm members to work in the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank this past November. Firm members who participated in the philanthropic activity were Lori Conant, Bob Fisher, Jenni Mancine, Sylvia Matheos, Diane Stojak, Kate Williams and Donna Wutrick. The team helped sort, inspect and repackage food donations.

The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank feeds people and fights hunger by providing food and other essential products to more than 400 community organizations that operate food pantries, hot meal sites and other hunger relief programs in Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties.
