Schlabig Senior Associate Chairs Fairlawn Rotary Club Gala Event

Akron, OH, April 24, 2009…Betsy McIntyre, a senior associate for Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, recently co-chaired the spring gala hosted by the Rotary Club of Fairlawn and the Boy Scouts of America Great Trail Council.

The Rotary Club of Fairlawn and the Boy Scouts of America Great Trail Council Spring Gala is an annual fundraising event. The Rotary Club of Fairlawn and the co-sponsoring non-profit agency share proceeds.

This year, the theme, “Talk to the Animals,” included “Outback Ray Anderson” and his animal friends, including a python and an alligator.

McIntyre has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Fairlawn since 2004.

She has been with Schlabig & Associates since 2007. Her responsibilities include QuickBooks support, attest services, including compilations, reviews, audits and a variety of tax services for corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

She is based in the firm’s Akron office and is a graduate of The University of Akron. She resides in Copley.
