Schlabig Partner Elected Treasurer of Tallmadge Little League

Akron, OH, Nov. 16, 2009…Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, partner Robert W. Fisher was recently elected treasurer of the Tallmadge Little League, Tallmadge, Ohio. The Tallmadge Little League provides support to all baseball, softball and challenger leagues in the city of Tallmadge, providing more than 600 kids.

Fisher will operate as the league’s treasurer for two years.

Fisher, who joined Schlabig in 1992, is a certified public accountant (CPA) and serves the firm’s corporate, individual and non-profit accounts by providing tax planning and consulting, management consulting and accounting-related services. He is certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

A graduate of The University of Akron, Fisher also serves as the director of the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and treasurer of Kent’s United Services Organization. He is a member of the finance committee for the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and St. Matthew School Advisory Council. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for St. John’s Villa, Carrollton, Ohio.

He resides in Tallmadge with his wife, Cindy, and their four children.
