Bob Fisher Elected To Board Of Trustees At St. John's Villa

Akron, OH, Nov. 20, 2008…Robert W. Fisher, partner of Schlabig & Associates, Ltd, was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of the St. John’s Villa, Carrollton, Ohio. St. John’s Villa provides residency and programming to 55 adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities plus other social services to residents of Carrollton.

Fisher, who joined Schlabig in 1992, will serve a three-year term on the board beginning this January.

Fisher, a certified public accountant (CPA), serves the firm’s corporate, individual and non-profit accounts by providing tax planning and consulting, management consulting and accounting-related services. He also is certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

A graduate of The University of Akron, Fisher also serves as the director of the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and treasurer of Kent’s United Services Organization. He is a member of the finance committee for the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and St. Matthew School Advisory Council.

Fisher lives in Tallmadge with his wife, Cindy, and children, Ashley, Hannah, Haylee and Parker.
