David M. Supelak

David Supelak is a certified public accountant and master of taxation. He serves as senior tax manager with Schlabig & Associates, Ltd. He has been with the firm since 2002.

Dave provides extensive strategic tax planning, specialized corporate tax and business advisory services, compliance and research, and representation for companies and individuals in actions before the Internal Revenue Service and other governmental agencies.

He serves on several boards and councils in the region, including the Akron Tax and Estate Planning Council, where he is second vice president, and Greater Akron Chamber Small Business Council and Government Affairs. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Ohio Society of CPAs, Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce and Akron Tax Club.

Dave also is very active in presenting at seminars and speaking on topics such as tax legislation. He is currently partnering with The University of Akron in the development of articles for a variety of publications.

He is a graduate of The University of Akron, and resides in Copley.
